Hare House Report
Latrobe City and the Mathison Park Special Committee have engaged a building company to prepare a report on Hare House at the park.
The house has a long and significant history and is a popular attraction for park visitors and Churchill residents. It was also listed in the 2010 Latrobe City Heritage Study.
Latrobe City officers and the Committee agreed to investigate the stability of the structure in response to community concerns.
A temporary fence will be erected around the house while the report’s contents are considered by the Committee and Latrobe City officers.
